Contentment

How content are you? Are you wishing something was different in your life than it currently is? Are you grumbling about some part of your life, job, marriage, or family?  Here is a beautiful list I have printed out and put the walls of my house to remind me to be content...

  • Never allow yourself to complain about anything--not even the weather.
  • Never picture yourself in any other circumstances or someplace else.
  • Never compare your lot with another's.
  • Never allow yourself to wish this or that had been otherwise.
  • Never dwell on tomorrow--remember that [tomorrow] is God's, not ours.
(This list was taken from a missionary's journal. You can find it in "Calm My Anxious Heart" by Linda Dillow.)

Let's practice contentment today!!

What is Your Mouth Filled With? Part 1

"My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long". Psalm 71:8

In this day and age and with all of the four hundred things we women have to do each day, sometimes (or often!) we forget to praise our adoring, patient, and loving Heavenly Father.  If we will fill ourselves with His word and let it flow through us "all day long" it will be amazing what we will accomplish! Rest in His word today sweet ladies!

"You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him."  Deut. 13:4

Let's CLING to Him today!!
